General Manager

Glenn Lee

Glenn joined the RCCC team in September 2023. He is a dedicated A-13 PGA and CMAA General Manager, as well as a Veteran Golf Professional with three decades of experience in the hospitality and golf industry. Glenn has a proven track record of successfully managing single, multi-facility, corporate, developer, and private equity management clubs. He has served as GM/COO at several prestigious clubs, including Adios Golf Club, TPC Summerlin, Escondido Golf & Lake Club, Horseshoe Bay Resort, and The Hills of Lakeway. Glenn served on the National Board of Directors for the PGA of America from 2015 to 2018. He has an impeccable history of building service-oriented teams, and his principles are teamwork and embodying the atmosphere of hospitality to enable an enhanced member experience. Glenn is a San Antonio, Texas native, and he attended Stephen F. Austin University for Business Administration. He and his wife, Jennifer, are embracing the quintessential Montana lifestyle and currently reside in the Deer Lodge community. They have five children, and six grandchildren in various parts of the United States, that can’t wait to come visit. 

Assistant General Manager | Director of Real Estate & Membership Sales

Ron Snow

This season will mark 20 years at Rock Creek Cattle Company for Ron. He’s originally from Deming, New Mexico. Ron and his wife Shelley have made Deer Lodge their home. Rock Creek Cattle Company is Ron’s passion as you’ll quickly come to learn about him. Some of his favorite activities at the ranch include shooting sports, fly fishing, and back country UTV exploring. He is also passionate about the community of Deer Lodge. He serves as President of the Powell County Medical Foundation, also on the board of the Deer Lodge City-County Airport and he serves on the board of directors of Pioneer Federal Savings and Loan in Deer Lodge and Dillon.

Director of Outdoor Adventures

Mark Beattie

Mark will be entering his 14th year with the ranch this summer. Originally from Saratoga, Wyoming Mark enjoys most of his time now in Montana throughout the offseason. Mark and his wife Chrissy, a commercial airline pilot, live full time on the outskirts of Deer Lodge and are thrilled to announce a new addition to their family- Baby Beattie, landing October 28th, 2024. Mark’s favorite activities at Rock Creek Cattle Company include fly fishing and shooting sports

Executive Chef

Jay Chavez

Jay is entering his third season as Executive Chef and second season working at Rock Creek Cattle Company. Jay's culinary journey began with training at Le Cordon Blue in Las Vegas where he earned a degree in food science and culinary arts. Chef Chavez's culinary journey  includes notable roles within the Foley Enterprises, as the Henderson Silver Knights Chef and Assistant Chef for the Vegas Golden Knights, where he brought his culinary flair to the world of sports. Most recently, Chef Chavez lent his expertise to the grand opening of Goodnights in Healdsburg, CA, as part of the Glacier Restaurant Group

Chef Chavez was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and his hobbies include; Hiking with his two dogs, Taz and Hu, playing guitar, off-roading in his Jeep, and he has a massive hat collection. His favorite meal to prepare is sushi.

Summer Camp Counselor

Alaina Child

Alaina grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho then moved to Utah before her love of nature and the outdoors pulled her to Montana in 2024. Over the past two and a half years, she has worked as a full-time nanny, where she developed a strong passion for working with children and fostering their growth and creativity. In previous years Alaina was able to counsel and coach various youth volleyball teams and camps. She is thrilled to work the summer camp and to be able to provide a memorable and enriching experience for the kids. In her free time, Alaina enjoys crafting and getting outside with her two wonderful puppies. 

Executive Concierge

Karen Despain

Karen is entering her 14th season at the ranch. Karen is from Jackson, Wyoming and resides year-round in Deer Lodge, Montana. She is a graduate of University of Nevada, Reno. Karen’s family includes her husband, Don, her daughter, Kellie and son and daughter-in-law Dean & Katie. She has two beautiful grandbabies in Mia & Remi. Her favorite activities at RCCC are horseback riding, skeet shooting, hiking and our spa treatments at Spa 1919.

Director of Food & Beverage

Matt Golightly

Matt has been in the Food & Beverage industry for close to 20 years, most recently working for a sister company managing restaurants in the Las Vegas area. He and his wife, Meghan, have lived in the Spring Mountains outside of Las Vegas since 2019, and they enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, camping, and rock climbing. Matt, Meghan, and their 9-year-old mini-Australian shepherd Penelope, are looking forward to exploring Montana and experiencing a piece of the Old West lifestyle.

Spa Director

Meghan has spent the last 10 years working as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Las Vegas. Meghan is passionate about yoga, running, the outdoors, and all things health and fitness. She is excited to explore the trails of Rock Creek with her husband, Matt and their mini-Aussie.

Head Golf Professional

Austin Harrington

Austin is entering his sixth season at Rock Creek Cattle Company and his first as the Head Golf Professional. He loves RCCC — the property, exceptional golf course, and genuine people truly set it apart from anywhere he’s ever been. Austin exudes a positive attitude, high energy level, and commitment to serving the membership and staff. He is a Minnetonka, Minnesota native, and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, where he studied Business, Entrepreneurship. Austin is getting married this winter to his fiancée, Alicia, down in Naples, Florida. They are excited to celebrate the big day with close friends and family!

Golf Course Superintendent

Rick Hathaway

Rick will be entering his 15th season at Rock Creek Cattle Company this year. He is a native of Spokane, Washington. Rick’s family consists of his wife, Lisa, and their two children, Owen and Bailey. Rick is a graduate of Eastern Washington University. Some of Rick’s favorite activities at RCCC include golf, ATV riding and enjoying the Lake Barn.

Membership Sales Consultant

Jessie Henningsen

Jessie is entering her fouth season as Rock Creek Cattle Company's Membership Sales Consultant. She grew up in Bozeman, Montana where she graduated from Montana State University after attending on a scholarship for track & field. She and her husband, Brian, Rock Creek Cattle Company Ranch Manager, reside at the home ranch along with their one-year-old daughter, Willa. Jessie enjoys helping at Carol Ann's Mercantile where she aids in buying and merchandising. She also enjoys being part of the local Deer Lodge community where she lends her services as a licensed real estate professional. Improving her golf game and touring up to Rock Creek Lake are among her favorite activities.

Director of Sports

Ryan Hoag

Ryan Hoag is a native of Minneapolis Minnesota where he attended both Wake Forest University and Gustavus Adolphus College, graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. Ryan played four sports in college and upon graduation was drafted by the Oakland Raiders and played nine years of professional football for five different NFL teams. Upon his retirement, Ryan returned to his favorite childhood sport, tennis, and has been working across the USA at different country clubs in multiple capacities. Ryan is a certified USPTA tennis teaching professional and IPTPA pickleball teaching professional. When he's not teaching tennis and pickleball he is a sports broadcaster for Raider Nation Radio and ESPN radio and does the pregame show for the Las Vegas Raiders on Sundays.

Maintenance Supervisor

Willie Johnson

Willie is entering his 12th season at the ranch. Willie is happily married to his wife, Lynn and the couple has five children – Kyle, Karissa, Lenora, Karson & Josee. Willie calls Deer Lodge, Montana home and he maintains the property year-round. In his off time at RCCC, he enjoys his shooting sports and fishing at the Lake Barn.

Assistant Director of outdoor adventures

Austin Jones

Austin graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Fisheries & Wildlife. After graduation, he started working/guiding in the hospitality and hunting industry. Austin moved to Montana to be the Lake Barn Manager in 2018 and is now the Assistant Director of Outdoor Adventures. He specializes in management, retail operations, and guiding. Austin strives to bring the best possible outdoor adventures to the membership. Besides working at the ranch, he runs a hunting camp for Five Star Expeditions in Wyoming that specializes in world-class hunting excursions.

Tonya Knight

Director of Housekeeping

Tonya is a Hospitality Professional with 16+ years of experience in Hospitality Management in exclusive resorts/hotels. She received her degree from the University of Phoenix in Human Services and is a veteran of the USAF. Tonya has a passion and a love of service, and a desire to create memorable experiences for our guests and owners. Tonya enjoys volunteering and supporting our Veterans, riding horses and whitewater rafting. She is looking forward to her first season on the ranch. 

Steve Lavin

Director of Transportation

Steve joined the RCCC team in May 2024. He was born and raised in Helena. He recently retired as Colonel with the Montana Highway Patrol after 32 years of service. He worked in many areas of the state including Missoula, Kalispell, Libby, Cut Bank and finally Helena. Steve was elected as the Kalispell Representative for the Montana Legislature in 2011, and completed 4 full terms. He served on several committees, including Local Government, House Tax, and was the Chairman of the Transportation Committee for his last 2 sessions. Steve has a BS in Sociology from MSU in Bozeman. Steve enjoys fly and ice fishing, golf and bowling. His family includes his wife, Amy, of 32 years, son Michael (Physical Therapist in Kalispell), and daughter Cassidy (attending MT Tech in Butte).

Member Accountant

Jennifer Logan

Jennifer is entering her fifth season at the ranch. Jennifer grew up in Virginia and California and now resides year-round in Deer Lodge, Montana. She is a graduate of Montana State University with a degree in accounting. Jennifer's family includes her husband, Greg, and her three children, Katie, Ben and James. Some of Jennifer's favorite activities at the ranch are Lake Barn and the spa treatments at Spa 1919.

Director of Special Projects

Rich Miller

Rich is a native Montanan with extensive construction and luxury hospitality experience, a perfect combination for his role as Special Projects Director. He lives in Anaconda with his wife Carolyn. They have four children, one grandson, two dogs, and 5 grand-dogs. In his spare time Rich enjoys golf, hunting, side-x-side rides, skiing, listening to live music, and of course spending time with his family. This season, he is most looking forward to meeting as many members as possible, and perhaps lowering his handicap a bit!

Matt Macy

Matt is entering his fourth year at the ranch. Originally from Olympia, Washington, he fell in love with Montana while attending Montana State University where he met his wife Allison. He now calls Deer Lodge home, where he lives year-round helping to maintain the property. Last season the Macy's celebrated the addition of their daughter, Blair Elaine Macy into their family.

Director of Golf

Travis Olson

Travis is entering his twelfth year as PGA Director of Golf at the ranch. He offers an extensive background in world class service, high energy level and is excited to lead a team that is committed to making every effort to bring you the finest golf experience found anywhere. Travis is an accomplished player, teacher, and certified golf fitness instructor. A Minnesota native, he graduated from Concordia College, earning degrees in Management & Communication. His hobbies outside of golf include Minnesota sports, fishing, hunting, and traveling with his wife Abretia and daughter Ellie Sue.

Bar Manager

Nick Rewis

Nick is entering his 8th season at the ranch, and his first as Bar Manager. He has been in the Food & Beverage industry for over 20 years and has worked at a variety of private clubs throughout Florida. Nick is originally from Bermuda and growing up in a tropical climate has given him a great appreciation for the fresh cool mountain air and culture of Montana. He is a lover of music and bringing people together and truly enjoys helping others make great memories and offering exceptional hospitality. 

Assistant Director of Golf

Lori Sitler

Lori is entering into her 11th season here at Rock Creek. She grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Played golf and received a degree from the University of Wyoming in communications. Lori has been in the LPGA for 21 years is an accomplished player and teacher. She and her husband of one year, Jeff (a retired military veteran) live in Anaconda, MT. She has two sons Anthony and Andy and a daughter in law Emily. Lori loves to golf, hike, bike, ski, or do anything active. Her favorite activity on the ranch is to ride mountain bikes with members.

 

Food & Beverage Manager

Sebastian Solomon

Sebastian is entering his sixth season with Rock Creek Cattle Company. Originally from Huntington, New York, Sebastian was raised in Las Vegas. In addition to his role at Rock Creek Cattle Company, Sebastian works with our sister company, Glacier Restaurant Group, where he serves as an assistant manager at one of their Las Vegas locations. Outside of work, Sebastian enjoys flying airplanes over the mountains and spending quality time with his family. He’s also a big fan of hockey, regularly attending games to cheer on the Golden Knights. His ultimate dream is to fly corporate jets around the world.

Director of HR

Nina Stefani

Nina is entering her forth season at the Ranch. She grew up in sunny California then relocated in 2007 to Montana, making it her forever home. Nina comes to us with over twenty years of hospitality and HR experience. Seventeen of those years have been with a sister company, Glacier Restaurant Group, based out of Whitefish, MT. Nina is passionate about giving back to the community she loves; she’s spearheaded statewide fundraisers and served terms on several state and local Boards. Nina and her husband, Laramie, enjoy hockey (GKG!), traveling, paddle boarding and raising their three rescue pups. While on property, Nina enjoys fresh baked goods from the kitchen, hiking in the afternoons, and catching up with the team.

Amanda Sturgeon

Amanda is entering her third official season at Rock Creek Cattle Company, but she has been involved with various aspects of RCCC since 2018. Originally from Seattle, WA, Amanda headed to Southern California for college and to start her career in tax at a public accounting firm. She is now based in Las Vegas, NV, working with Foley Family Farms and Foley Entertainment Group in addition to RCCC. Her favorite activity at the ranch is being able to get out of zoom calls and build relationships with the ranch team and the members.

Brailey Williams

Brailey joins Rock Creek Cattle Company as the Event Coordinator, bringing a blend of creativity and experience in interior design and hospitality. Originally from the Bozeman area, Brailey spent her early years dreaming of city life, which led her to New York City and later to Chicago, where she pursued a degree in Fashion Marketing + Management. After spending several years cultivating her expertise in interior design and hospitality, Brailey missed the Big Sky and moved back to her home state. With over eight years of experience in design and a passion for creating memorable experiences, she is excited to bring her skills to Rock Creek Cattle Company. Brailey is dedicated to designing and coordinating beautiful event spaces that reflect the uniqueness of the property and serve its members. Outside of work, Brailey enjoys reconnecting with her Montana roots, exploring the state's hidden gems, and soaking in its natural beauty with her adventure buddy/cat Luke Purry.
